Our service agreement and your rights as a customer
Welcome to China Glocal. By accessing or using our website at chinaglocal.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. China Glocal operates as an intermediary travel services platform connecting international travelers with verified local service providers in China.
Our Platform facilitates bookings for car rental, eSIM data plans, travel insurance, flights, and hotel accommodations. We do not directly provide these services but connect you with licensed providers who fulfill your bookings.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our Platform immediately.
China Glocal functions exclusively as an intermediary and booking platform. We do not own vehicles, operate telecommunications networks, underwrite insurance policies, operate airlines, or manage hotel properties. All service agreements are concluded directly between you (the customer) and the respective service provider.

Your contractual relationship for each service is established with the provider, not with China Glocal. Provider-specific terms, cancellation policies, and service conditions apply to each booking.
To use our Platform, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. By using China Glocal, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

When you complete a booking through China Glocal, you are submitting an offer to purchase services from the provider. Your booking becomes binding once you receive a confirmation email containing your booking reference number and provider details.

Confirmation emails contain important information including booking reference numbers, provider contact details, service vouchers, and specific terms applicable to your reservation. Please review all confirmation documents carefully and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.
All prices displayed on the Platform are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. Prices include applicable service fees and taxes required at the time of booking. However, certain destination taxes, resort fees, or local charges may apply upon arrival or service fulfillment.
China Glocal may charge a service fee for facilitating bookings, which will be clearly displayed before payment confirmation. Payment must be completed using accepted methods including major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, or other payment options as available.
Exchange rate fluctuations may affect the final amount charged to your payment method if your card is denominated in a different currency. Your card issuer's exchange rates and foreign transaction fees apply.
We reserve the right to update pricing and service fees at any time. Prices are guaranteed only once booking confirmation is received.
Car rental bookings through China Glocal connect you with licensed local rental companies operating in China. Your rental agreement is formed directly with the provider, and their terms govern vehicle use, insurance coverage, driver requirements, and liability.
Driver requirements typically include:
Vehicle pickup requires presenting valid identification, driver documentation, booking confirmation, and payment card. The rental provider will conduct a vehicle condition inspection at pickup and return.
Insurance coverage, damage liability, fuel policies, mileage limits, and additional driver fees are determined by the rental provider. Review the provider's rental agreement carefully before accepting the vehicle.
eSIM bookings provide prepaid mobile data connectivity for use in China. Services are provided by licensed telecommunications partners and are subject to their terms of service and acceptable use policies.
eSIM activation requires:
Data plans include specified data allowances for designated validity periods. Speed throttling may occur after exceeding fair use limits. Service quality depends on local network coverage and conditions beyond our control.
eSIM profiles are non-transferable and can typically be used on only one device at a time. Refunds for unused data or early termination may not be available once the service is activated.
Travel insurance policies are underwritten by licensed insurance providers. China Glocal acts solely as an intermediary for insurance comparison and purchase. The insurance provider is responsible for all coverage, claims processing, and policy fulfillment.

Policy terms, coverage limits, exclusions, and claims procedures are defined in your insurance policy documents. Review the Policy Wording and Product Disclosure Statement provided by the insurer.
Claims must be filed directly with the insurance provider according to their procedures and timeframes. China Glocal can provide booking documentation to support claims but does not process or approve claims.
Cancellation and modification policies vary by service type and are determined by individual providers. These policies are clearly displayed during the booking process and in your confirmation email.
General cancellation principles:
Modifications to existing bookings depend on availability and may incur fees. Changes to dates, times, vehicle categories, or passenger details must be requested before the service start date.
Force majeure events, including natural disasters, political instability, or public health emergencies, may affect cancellation policies. Providers may offer flexibility in such circumstances, but waivers are at their discretion.
China Glocal's liability is limited to our role as an intermediary booking platform. We are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any service provider.

Our maximum liability for any claim arising from Platform use is limited to the service fees paid to China Glocal for the specific booking in question, excluding amounts paid directly to service providers.

All content on the China Glocal Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements, is the property of China Glocal or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
You may access and use Platform content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Prohibited uses include:
Provider logos, trademarks, and service marks displayed on the Platform are owned by respective providers and are used with permission for informational purposes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from Platform use or these terms shall be resolved through the courts of Beijing, China.
Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage users to contact our customer support team to resolve disputes amicably through negotiation and mediation.
For disputes with service providers regarding service quality, performance, or contractual issues, the provider's dispute resolution procedures and governing law apply.
China Glocal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated through Platform notifications or email to registered users.
Continued use of the Platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms. The "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page indicates when terms were last revised.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
